CHARLES BECK

 

 

Beck joined up in 1942, after graduating from flight school he was posted to the 361st Fighter squadron part of the 356th Fighter Group based in England. He first flew the P-47 with this sqn until they converted to the P-51 Mustang. Beck was one of the pilots that took part in the fighter groups historic day when they accounted for 110 victories against a massive Luftwaffe attack on American bombers. After the War Beck saw active service in Korea and later in  Vietnam a lot of Wars for one person. Charles E Beck finished the Second World War with
