Christensen was born in 1921, he attended the University of Boston before entering pilot training. After graduating from flight school in 1942 he was posted to England. Christensen joined the 62nd Fighter Squadron of the 56th Fighter Group. Christensen was a brilliant fighter pilot scoring 21 victories in just 107 combat missions. Capt Frederick Christensen Jr finished World War II with 21.5 victories. |
