Gerhard Homuth was known as a strict disciplinarian, born on the 20th of September, 1914 Homuth scored 15 victories during the Battle of France and The Battle Of Britain. Fighting in the North African campaign he scored another 46 victories. By July of 1943 Homuth was Kommandeur of I/JG 54 on the Eastern Front. While flying on a mission Homuth never returned and was declared missing in action. Gerhard Homuth finished the War with 61 victories. |
