Hugo Broch was born on the 6th of January 1922. Broch was posted to II./JG54 to the Eastern Front, his first victory came on the 7th of March 1943. Broch was a superb wingman he first flew with Horst Adameit (166) victories and then Bazi Sterr (130) victories and by the end of 1944 he had raised his score to 71. Hugo Broch was one of JG54s greatest FW190 Aces, he saw combat on the Eastern and Baltic fronts flying 324 combat missions and finishing the war with 81 victories. |
