was published to co-inside with the excellent channel four series of the
same name. Signed by four Battle Of Britain pilots.
GP Capt Tom Dalton Morgan Tom Dalton Morgan joined the RAF in 1935, serving with 22 sqn. In June 1940 he was posted to Tangmere as a flight commander with 43 sqn flying Hurricanes, Morgan scored his first victory on the 12th of July. In action over the channel he was hit an and had to bail out. He resumed flying but was wounded in action again. Promoted to Wing Commander with 13 Group he led a wing containg Spitfires Whirlwinds and Mustangs. His final victory came in 1943. Morgan was briefly attached to the USAAF 4th fighter group flying Mustangs. Tom Dalton Morgan finished the War with 17 victories. Sqn Leader Gerald ' Stapme' Stapleton A South African, he flew Spitfires with 603 sqn during the Battle of Britain and later commanded 247 sqn flying Typhoons. He finished the War with 6 victories. Flt Lt William Walker During the Battle Of Britain Flt Lt Walker flew with 616 sqn flying Spitfires, forced to bail out over the channel after being wounded he resumed flying with 116 sqn until the end of the War.
