Werner Schror was born in 1918, he joined JG27 in August of 1940. Schror fought in the early stages of the Battle Of Britain until he was transferred to North Africa. He became Staffelkapitan of 8/JG 27 on the 1st of July 1942 and on the 20th of October he was awarded the Rittekreuz for his 49th victory. By the 2nd of August 1943 Schror was a Hauptmann and Gruppenkommandeur of II/JG27 and owner of the Eichenlaub for his 89th kill. Schror was transferred to the East and was again to promoted to Major. Major Werner Schror flew a total of 197 missions ans scored 114 victories a very impressive tally. |
