French Fighter Aces Of World War II

 

 

Possessing perhaps the most outdated aircraft of any air force at the outbreak of War, the French had the unenviable experience of air combat. Many Pilots achieved great success though, flying such aircraft as Curtis Hawks, and later when many French pilots escaped to Britain Hurricanes and Spitfires.
